Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal activist and author who won several awards. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an environment that was artistic. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was nominated for one of the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. After only three movies, MacGraw was named the top female debut at the box office worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her name and footprints hand-engraved. Some of the films she's been in include The Getaway Convoy Players as well as the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out.
